THE INSTRUMENT IS NOT THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT
Assessments and feedback cannot stand alone in a program. What determines whether a leader improves is their disposition toward development. EDGE builds the disposition while it runs the instruments.
ACCELERATION, NOT REPAIR
EDGE develops proven performers. It does not fix underperformance, and a cohort of twelve cannot absorb a wrong seat.
- Already leading people
- High-potential talent in an organization
- Mostly 25 to 35, though leadership stage matters more than age
- Willing to take hard feedback and change because of it
- Willing to engage the Christian formation
WHERE CORPORATE RIGOR MEETS DEEP FORMATION
Most programs hand a leader an assessment and assume the insight does the work
Feedback improves performance on average and reduces it in more than a third of cases. EDGE develops a leader's disposition through Christian formation and embeds those teachings and values through tools like Hogan, EQ-i 2.0, and a 360 into a person who can actually use them.

1
Foundation
They can lead themselves before they lead anyone else.
The year opens with a full assessment baseline and the self-knowledge work most leaders skip.
By the end of this phase a participant can name their own values and stress triggers without prompting, recognize the patterns that will derail them under pressure, and stay steady in a room that is going badly.
2
Capacity
They can decide well and deliver under pressure.
Capacity is judgment and durability. Participants review their own career history for its patterns, examine their derailers directly, and build a way of deciding with incomplete information and something at stake.
By the end they discern and decide with clarity, deliver outcomes reliably, take a hard critique without defending, and get better from a failure instead of smaller.
3
Influence
They can build trust and move people through change.
This is where authority gets used. Trust, culture, delegation, meetings, and the multiplication of other leaders. Every leader shapes culture through what they reward, tolerate, and ignore, whether they intend to or not.
By the end a participant builds trust deliberately rather than accidentally and leads a team through a change.
4
Integration
They can sustain this for decades, not quarters.
Integration protects the investment. Rhythms, limits, and the conditions under which this person leads well over a long horizon. By the end a participant is developing other leaders, holds a pace they can keep, and leads from something other than momentary pressure.
The failure this phase prevents is the leader who succeeds publicly and comes apart privately.
Nine pillars run across the four phases. Each of the twenty modules touches at least one of these pillars.
1
Identity, Calling, and Ambition
What is actually driving this leader, and whether their ambition survives contact with real responsibility.
2
Character and Self-Leadership
Whether the private person and the public leader are the same person.
3
Emotional and Relational Maturity
How they handle conflict and criticism without controlling, avoiding, or people-pleasing.
4
Judgment, Wisdom, and Decision-Making
Deciding well with incomplete information and something at stake.
5
Performance, Execution, and Resilience
Delivering under sustained pressure without being distorted by it.
6
Influence, Power, and Culture-Shaping
Using authority as service rather than status, and shaping culture on purpose.
7
Complexity, Change, and the Future of Work
Staying steady and adaptable when the ground keeps moving.
8
Talent Multiplication and Stewardship
Developing other leaders, delegating real authority, building a bench.
9
Rule of Life and Whole-Life Faithfulness
Building a life that can carry this responsibility for decades.
